Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Therapy originated in Tuscan Arizona in 1993 by Mary Hannigan. The use of hot stones is not new. The Chinese, Japanese and Indians have all used stones for ritual and healing over thousands of years.

Smooth heated basalt stones are used which originate from the volcano, they are used because they conduct heat and energy. The stones are used to glide over the body and a deeper massage can be achieved, one stoke is equivalent to 5-10 strokes with the hand
